I am back in America~!! Two days ago was my birthday~!! Yesterday was prom~!! And today I have my monthly favorites~!! I have some new things to share with y'all, as well as announcing my posting schedule. Before we get into the favorites, let me say that starting today, I'll be posting on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and either on Saturday or Sunday. Alright, that's all I have left to say, so let's start~~!
Makeup
L'Oreal Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream
I ended up getting a bad sunburn while in China, and this worked so well at covering it up. It was a light texture, so it didn't irritate my skin. I talk about this product a lot, so I'm sorry if you are sick about hearing me praise this.
It is that time of the month, the time when I share my monthly favorites~!! February has been insanely busy for me, finishing up school, finishing up my applications for college, and of course flying to China. For the next few months, my favorites posts won't be as long as they normally are, unless I do a haul sometime soon (。•̀ᴗ-)✧ Anyways, it's time to share the monthly favorites. So let's start~~!
Makeup
L'Oreal Miss Manga Rock Mascara
This past month, I've just grown confident in my bare, makeup-less face. Except mascara is necessary. When I don't sleep well, it opens up my eyes. This mascara has been one of my favorites for a while, cause it does lengthen and volumize my lashes.
It's holiday season and if you're shopping for your friends or family member that is a fangirl/fanboy, someone who likes comics, anime, video games, sci-fi, etc., it can be difficult to shop for them. Sometimes you don't know what they like, and you still want to get them a great gift. Today I'll be sharing you a gift guide for your friends and family who are probably used to receiving a gift car. So let's start~~!
Sorry that this month I didn't post all that much. I had something planned to go up a few days ago, but my cat was sick and I had to take her to the vet. She's alright now, but last week I was busy taking care of her and going to the vet. Today I'll be sharing my monthly favorites with you from November. I have a variety of things to share with you all. So let's start~~!
The year of 2014 is almost over ;_; and I feel like it's been going by super fast. Anyways it's the end of November, so I thought I'd share my favorites from this past month. A lot of these became favorites towards the end of the month, but none the less I enjoyed them. So let's start~~!
Makeup
Covergirl Outlast 3-in-1 Foundation: This foundation is one of my favorites. Recently I've been breaking out, so I wanted something a little more full coverage than my BB creams. The finish is a powder finish, so it's long lasting and you don't need to set it. Also it covers everything, so I don't need a concealer with this.
Elf Eyeshadow Duo #33036-1: With fall here, I've been experimenting more with my eye makeup. This Elf eyeshadow duo has a copper color and a cool toned brown, which together create a nice metallic look. It's nothing like what I usually wear, but I've been really enjoying it.
EOS Lip Balm in Passion Fruit: You guys know I have an unexplained obsession with lip balms, mainly Baby Lips and EOS. This month I got a new EOS and it is my new favorite. It smells amazing and I have noticed that my lips aren't dry and gross.
Skin Care
Freeman's Clay Mask: I've gotten into a stricter skin care routine, and I've found this clay mask really great. It absorbs oil and has overall helped with the clarity and tone of my skin. The redness I've had has really gone away too.
Video Games and Apps
Pokemon Alpha Sapphire: I showed this game in my Black Friday wish list, and I go it yesterday. I freaking love it~!!! The graphics are beautiful and the game itself is very nostalgic for me. If you like Pokemon games, I definitely recommend this one.
Two Dots: I started playing this game at the beginning of the month. I've been stuck on the same level for the past week and I still can't beat it. But it's still really fun and if you haven't played it, I guess it's like Candy Crush, but harder.
Books
The Great Gatsby: I started reading this for English and I've been really liking it. The time period is really interesting to me. I also really like the plot and the language used in the book. I haven't finished it yet, but I still love it.
Movies
Big Hero 6: This is one of my new favorite animated films. I really do like Disney movies, and this one is as great, if not better, than Frozen, in my opinion please don't hate me. The visuals are really bright and colorful. The characters are well thought out and developed, and it's just so good~!!
The Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 1: I saw this two days ago, and it was amazing! I loved everything in this movie, and as usual Jennifer Lawrence did a great job. I can't wait till next year for the final movie, and I hope it will be as good as this one.
So those were my November Favorites. Let me know about some of your favorites from the past month in the comments below. Thank you guys so much for reading and I'll see you at my next post.

It's the end of August, meaning I start school soon ;_; Even though I'm not looking forward to it, I thought I'd try and enjoy my last few days of summer by writing a favorites post. That may not sound like the most exciting way to spend a summer day, but it's raining now so I can't do really anything. So let's start~~!
Makeup
♥This month I don't really have many makeup favorites, I only have three. The first one is the Milani Bella Eyes Eyshadow in the color #16 Bella Champagne. I did recently post a review on it, so {click here} to check it out. It's a really pretty rose gold color, which looks great on its own or in a complete eye look.
♥ The second makeup favorite I have is the Anastasia Brow Wiz and I'm in the color Soft Brown. I'd heard a lot of great things about this on YouTube, so I thought I'd give it a try. It has a spoolie on the end to brush out my brows and the pencil is really nice and applies smoothly.
♥ Lastly I have a lip product, and it's something that I showed in my Korean Cosmetics Haul, {click here} to check it out, and it's the Etude House Fresh Cherry Lip Tint in Cherry Lavender. It looks kind of intimidating, but it's not that purpley on your lips. On me it makes kind of a berry or purple toned pink, and I love it~~!
Perfume
♥Well it's more like a body spray and not a perfume, but what sounds better perfume or body spray?? Anyway I've been in love with the Bath and Body Works spray in the scent Paris Amour. According to their website, this scent contains three layers of fragrances. The first has Sparkling Mandarin, Petite Strawberry, Sparkling Pink Champagne, and Apple Blossoms. The second has Luscious Peach, Jasmine Petals, French Tulips, and Water Lily. The last one has French Vanilla, Coconut Milk, Amber Wood, Sandalwood, and Creamy Musk. All of these blend together to create a beautiful scent that if you can, you should give it a sniff.
Skin Care
♥I haven't had any really bad breakouts, but I've gotten one or two bad pimples here and there. This month I found a great spot treatment that I'm now in love with. It's the CVS brand Acne Spot Treatment. If you can't get this, the one from Clean and Clear is exactly the same. I'll put this on my blemishes after washing my face at night and when I wake up, they are smaller or gone.
Anime / Manga
♥ Towards the end of the month I started an anime called Terror in Resonance. I know that this just started recently, but it's amazing. The animation and soundtrack are absolutely beautiful. It's about an alternate version of present day Tokyo, which is being attacked by a terrorist group called Sphinx. The members are two teenage boys, named Nine and Twelve, who now want to take revenge on the world that has tormented them. It's unlike any anime I've ever watched and have instantly been drawn to it. If you haven't started this anime you need to~!!
♥I did also start a manga this month and it's Fairy Tail. I did try watching the anime, but I hate watching long shows, so I thought I'd read the manga instead. I love it~! <3 I'm all caught up and just read the newest chapter, which had my favorite couple in it kissing~!!!! (I'm such an awkward fangirl -.-")
Movies
♥Guardians of the Galaxy was AMAZING~!?!?! If you haven't seen this movie yet, go see it now! It's a superhero movie, but it balances the action and the comedy really well. I loved all the characters, especially Groot.
So those were my favorites for the month of August. I'd really appreciate it if you told me some of your favorites from this past month in the comments below. I hope you all had an awesome summer~! Thank you guys so much for reading and I'll see you at my next post.
Before I post my yearly favorites, I'm telling you guys my December favorites. And as usual I'm starting with beauty products.
I've been in search of a good long wearing foundation this month. So I tried one that I've heard a lot about and I love it. It's the Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3 in 1 Foundation.
I'm in the shade #805 Ivory. It's high coverage and has a powder finish, keeping me matte all day. The best way I've found to apply it is with a damp makeup sponge, anything else ruins the finish for me.
For eye makeup I've been using my Stila In the Know palette a lot recently.
I get really chapped lips and one lip balm has saved my life. It's the Carmex Everyday Healing Lip Balm.
It's not as sticky or as heavy feeling as Vaseline, but it still does a great job of healing and moisturizing my lips.
I haven't been into wearing nail polish a ton this month, mainly cause I haven't had time to do my nails. I recently got a manicure at a salon and I needed it.
The color that my nails are is In the Cable Car Pool Lane by OPI. I got a simple flower painted on too. Comment if you want a tutorial on this design.
This month I've been wearing this one ring every single day. It's the gold cat ear ring from Forever21.
I got it a few sizes bigger than my ring finger, so I have to wear it on my middle one. Still it looks super cute and I really want to get more rings like this.
Onto the non beauty and fashion favorites~!
I just started watching this anime called Black Cat and oh my god, I love it so far. I'm about fourteen episodes in and my favorite character is probably Eve, the blonde girl with the angel wings in the picture.
She's a robot made out of nano technology and was created to be a weapon. But once she's freed, she tries to learn about the world around her. Cause she doesn't understand much, she has some pretty funny lines and I just love her >w<
I saw the new Disney movie Frozen at the beginning of the month and if you haven't seen it, you're missing out.
I thought it would be horrible, based on the trailer, but it was amazing. The animation was beautiful and I liked how it wasn't a traditional Disney plot.
So those were my December favorites. This is the last favorites post of 2013 ;_; and I hope you guys enjoyed it. See you all at my next post, which will probably be in 2014. xo
Happy first day of October. Today is the time of the month were I tell you guys my favorite products from this past month. But instead of just showing you makeup and other beauty products, I'll be sharing some non beauty favorites with you guys too. So let's get into it~!
Makeup
I have no new face makeup favorites, so I'm going straight to eye products. I got this Clinique eye shadow quad for free in a gift bag from Bloomingdales. The quad comes with a matte cream called French Vanilla, a satin finished taupe and dark brown from the Clinique duo Double Date, and a matte black called Midnight. All of the shadows are well pigmented and these shadows are great for everyday use.
My love of tight lining has continued and I still use the same liner. This is the Rimmel Scadaleyes liner in the color #5 Taupe. I talked about this in my August Favorites too, so read that post if you want to know more about this amazing liner.
I've gotten really bad chapped lips this month, so I've been trying a lot of healing lip balms. The best one was the Blistex Five Star Lip Protection. It has SPF 30 and is great if you get really dry lips. If you apply this onto chapped lips, it does hurt a bit and it does give a white cast to my lips, so if you try this use it a night or apply a lipstick over it if you plan to wear it during the day.
Nail Polish
I have been lazy with painting my nails this month. I had my imPRESS nails on for two weeks, so for two weeks this month I actually used nail polish. A color that I wore that I think is beautiful is by Wet and Wild and the color is called, I Need a Refreshmint. I love the name for this polish and I have a mint obsession, so once my friend showed me this polish I fell in love. This isn't super long wearing, so I did have to touch it up when I wore it, but besides that it's a beautiful color.
Skin/Hair Care
My skin care routine hasn't changed at all, except for the addition of this sheet mask from the company My Scheming. It's an anti acne sheet mask, which I already did a review on {click here to see it.} It's really helped clear me skin and I love it.
I have thin hair, so I need to strengthen it. My hair dresser recommended that I use a treatment with Argan Oil and if you don't know what that is, it's an oil that nourished the hair and helps with dry skin. So I purchased the Suave Professionals Moroccan Infusion Styling Oil. This contains both Argan and Moroccan oil, another beneficially oil for the hair. I've been using this to control my friz and it works great on my hair.
Music
Yes, I'm gonna talk about my taste in music this favorites post. I do have a unique music taste for a teenager. This month I've been loving the song Every Night by the K-Pop band EXID. My friends got me into K-Pop a few months ago, but this has always been one of my favorite songs. I know the video is kind of weird, but the song is what I like.
An English song I've been playing obsessively this month is Mirrors by Justin Timberlake. I just really like it and I haven't gotten sick of it yet, which is something that happens when I overplay a song.
Anime, TV Shows, and Movies
I have been finding time in my crazy life to watch some anime and a few episodes of some of my favorite TV shows. This month I watched Brother's Conflict,
a romantic comedy, and Dangan Ronpa,
it's similar to the Hunger Games/ Battle Royal. Both were recommended by my friend. I liked both of them a lot.
At the end of the month, my favorite TV shows began their new seasons, 2 Broke Girls
and The Big Bang Theory.
Both are on CBS and they're hilarious.
I haven't seen any amazing movies this month, sadly. But I'm super excited for Catching Fire which comes out in November.
So those were my monthly favorites. Comment with your favorites from this month down below. If you have any ideas for future posts you want to read, I'd like to hear them. See you all at my next post xo
