D.I.Y. Pom Pom Earrings~!

Hey Guys~!

If you have been anywhere, you have probably seen at least one pair of Pom Pom earrings. I have seen them on tons of websites, selling them for a ridiculous amount of money. Like guys, it's just pom poms...I know I love them too...But I bought a huge bag of them for $5...Today I'll be showing you guys how you can make your own Pom Pom earrings. So let's start~~!

D.I.Y. Hearts and Sprinkles Whipped Decoden Headphones~!

Hey Guys~!

After my last decoden post, where I decoden a phone case and saw the positive response, I thought I should do more. Today I will be showing you guys how I decoden these headphones, I did these at home before I left for China in case you are confused. It is super easy to do and you can customize them however you like. So let's start~~!

Decoden Cream and Decorative Tips

3-D Paint 

Charms (I made mine this time too)

Pearls

I started this with the cream whip, I'm using a star tip to do this design. First I did a border around the headphone, and then filled it in with little star dollops. Then I used the 3-D Paint, the color I used is Medium Blue from Scribbles, to make a drip border.

Now I placed my charms, I had red hearts, this pastel colored marshmallow, and some sprinkles. Press them into he cream so they adhere to the headphones. I also added some pearls for some extra sparkle. You can decorate however you like, this is just the design I chose. Wait for the cream to dry, this will depend on the brand you use, and now you're finished~~!!

I used to have a problem with my skin looking dull, but through a lot of trial and error, I have developed a few tips and tricks to achieve a natural glow. Today, with help from ALOHA, I'll be sharing those tips as well as a DIY with you guys. So let's start~~!

D.I.Y. Batman/ Bat Girl Costume + Makeup Tutorial~!

Hey Guys~!

It's Halloween and I thought I'd share a really quiz and easy D.I.Y. costume which I do plan on wearing. Criminals beware, for I will be Bat Girl~!! This is cheaper than buying a superhero costume, and this can be adjusted for any other superhero. Also I included a simple tutorial for my makeup. So let's start~~!

First we'll make the Bat symbol. There are many patterns online, {click here} to get the one I used, but you can free hand it too. Cut out a large oval out of yellow felt. Then sketch out the bat pattern onto the black felt and cut it out.

Next sew the bat symbol onto the yellow oval. If you can't sew, just use fabric glue or a glue gun to stick them together.

To attach it to the costume, just use a safety pin to secure it onto whatever you're wearing. Or you can sew on a jump ring, string it on to a cord or chain and wear it as a necklace.

Now for the actual costume I decided to wear this black skater dress from Forever21. The material has a spandex/superhero costume look and feel to it, so I thought this would be perfect. Obviously I have my bat symbol on my dress and I love how it turned out~~!! For my "utility belt" I just put on this black one with gold detailing. If you have a yellow belt or ribbon, you can use that instead. If it's cold where you live, where some leggings or thick black tights. I decided just to wear some sheer skin toned ones. Any black shoes or boots work for this look. I decided to wear these black combat boots that I got at DSW.

For my makeup, I just did my regular face makeup routine. The eyes can be made darker, but I wore this to school, so I didn't want to go too crazy. I started by applying an eyeshadow primer from Elf all over my lids.

Then I lightly filled in my brows with my Anastasia Brow Wiz pencil.

I decided to use some eyshadows from my new Too Faced Matte Eye palette (I do plan to review this soon.) I started by applying the color Fresh Linen, a matte pale pink, all over my lid and up to the brow bone.

Next I blended the color Pebbles, a matte mid-toned gray to my crease and outer lid. Make sure you blend it nicely and create an even transition.

Lastly I took the navy blue eyeshadow called London Fog and used it to lightly line my lower lash line.

I decided to line my eyes, since I thought it would make the look more dramatic. I used my Jordana Fabu-Liner in black and did a simple winged eyeliner.

Because I didn't want my eyes too dark, I lined my waterline with a nude liner from NYX. Last part for the eyes was applying mascara to the upper and lower lashes, I used Maybelline's The Rocket.

For my lips I decided to keep them simple and I used a simple light pink lipstick. You can wear a dark berry or black lipstick if you're really daring. And now we're finished~!!

D.I.Y. Potion Necklaces / Charms~!

Hey Guys~!

For Halloween I thought I'd show you guys how to make these beautiful and creepy potion necklaces. They're really fun to make and can be customized however you like. Also you can put it onto a phone strap and make it a charm for your phone. So let's start~~!

You'll Need

Wire

Chains

Beads/Embellishments

Eye Pins 

Headpins

Mini Bottles

Jump Rings

Pliers 

Wire Cutters

Glue 

Paint

First take a paper cup and mix your glue with some paint. Use any color you like. I used watercolor because I didn't want it to look too opaque. If the mixture is too thick, add a tiny amount of water, just to loosen up the mixture.

Once everything is all mixed up, carefully pour it into your bottle. I got a set of ten of these in the craft store. If the glue paint mixture overflows, just clean up the bottle and tap it down on your work surface so the mixture falls to the bottom.

This is the simplest part. Take an eye pin and cut off part of it using the wire cutters. Then push it into the cork so it looks like this. Your bottles may already have a pin in them, but mine didn't.

Time for the fun part, DECORATING~!!! For this one I took some silver wire and wrapped it around the neck of the bottle. As I wrapped it, I strung on some small pearls. Once I was done with the wire, I took rhinestone and slipped a jump ring through it and attached it to the wire.

 Lastly for the decorating I made a bead charm. I just picked three beads and strung them onto a headpin. Then cut off the excess wire and bent it to create a loop. And then I attached it to the eye pin in the cork using a jump ring. To make it into a necklace, sting the charm onto a cord or attach it to a chain using a jump ring. For a phone charm, just use a jump ring and attack it to the strap. And now we are finished~!!!

 I had so much fun making this D.I.Y. Afterwards I made the pink one on the right, and instead just mixed the glue with pink paint and added different colored beads and a heart charm.

D.I.Y. Cuticle Cream~!

Hey Guys~!

I've finally been able to grow out my nails, which took a while for me. Something that really helped me was a D.I.Y. cuticle cream I found through Pinterest. This one has very common ingredients that you probably have or can find easily. So let's start~~!

~ Here's what you'll need to make it ~

Olive Oil

Body Lotion / Hand Cream

Vaseline / Petroleum Jelly

Small Container

Plastic Spoon

Measuring Spoons

This is super simple to do. Start off by putting one spoonful of the Vaseline or petroleum jelly as a base into the container. Next add 1/4 teaspoon of olive oil, if you have extra virgin olive oil that would be the best.  

Lastly for the ingredients, add a little body lotion or hand cream. I used a scented one so my hands smell nice when I use it. Now all you have to mix up the ingredients, I found that using the back of a spoon is the easiest way to do this, and you're finished~~!

D.I.Y. Bird Nest Necklace~!

Hey Guys~!

I was looking around on Etsy for jewelry and I saw a picture of this really cute necklace.

It's a wire bird nest and I thought it was super cute for spring. But they were selling it for a ton of money, so I looked for a tutorial on it. Today I'll be showing you how to make your own~~!

You'll Need. . .

Wire

Pearls or Glass Beads

Chain

Clasp

Jump Rings

Pliers

Wire Cutters

So let's start~!

First pick out whatever beads or pearls you want. These will be the eggs in the bird's nest. You can either do one, or do however many you like. I decided to do three.

Once you've done that, start wrapping the wire around the beads. Then wrap some wire in the spaces between the beads, this will prevent them from moving around. Do about three loops in between each bead so it looks like this.

Now for the back, you want to weave the rest of the wire through the existing wire to create the bottom of the nest. This took a while to do, so be patient. 

Next with your pliers open up a jump ring and put the nest charm we made on it. Just loop it though a piece of the wire. Close the jump ring around the chain.

 Lastly open up two jump rings and attach the two clasp pieces, one on each end of the necklace.

And that's it, you're finished~!

D.I.Y. Bunny Ear Headband for Easter~!

Hey Guys~!

With Easter coming up, I thought I'd make a cute D.I.Y. bunny inspired accessory. I was looking around on the internet and saw these cute bunny headbands that remind me a lot of the one Rin Kagamine wears.

So today I'll be teaching you how to make your own bunny headband. It doesn't have to be for Easter, personally I'll wear this a ton during the spring and summer. So let's start~~!

You Will Need. . .

Fabric
Scissors
Matching Thread
Sewing Machine/Needle
Pins
Headband/Elastic

First sketch out your pattern and cut it out. You want something that looks similar to the one I made.

Next you'll want to pin the pattern down onto your fabric. Cut out two pieces and pin them nice sides together. 

You'll want to have the back of the fabric facing you. Stitch the two pieces together using a running stitch. Make sure you leave a space so you can flip it inside out. 

Once your done sewing and have flipped it inside out, sew the hole up with small stitches. Then get your headband or elastic out. It doesn't have to match the color of the bow,but I made mine so it did. Tie the bow around the band and make sure it's tight. And now we're finished~~! 

I decided to take some selfies while wearing it cause I think it looks super cute. I really like how simple this is to do.
