Hey Guys~!
So here's my second post in my back to school series. If you want to see the previous back to school post click here. Today I'll be sharing my must haves for school, not including phone or keys, and just so you know not all are beauty related. These are all the things I make sure I have in my bag before going to school. So with that let's get started >.<
First thing I can never be without in school is a pack of gum. I like to have either spearmint or fruity gum and I keep it at easy access. Personally I like either Trident or Orbit gum, but you should always have gum or some other breath freshening item with you. If your school doesn't allow gum, bring some breath mints that your can chew on instead. You can get these tiny packs of gum for less than a dollar and they're great to hide in your pocket.
No matter what the season is, I always have chapped lips. So I try to bring some type of lip balm to school and I usually keep it in my pencil case so it's easy to find. Some of the lip balms I like are Maybelline Baby Lips (duh), LypSyl, and EOS. The Baby Lips is #10 Peppermint, the LypSyl just comes in one flavor, and my EOS is Summer Fruit. All of these can be bought at a local drugstore or Target and aren't too expensive.
This may just be me, but I hate having to use the water fountains in school. At my school they're either broken or gross looking. So I try to keep a water bottle with me. It doesn't matter if you bring a metal bottle or plastic one, you should always have water with you. If I'm not having water, I bring tea in a metal bottle so it stays warm. I like doing this either when it's cold or if I have a sore throat.
If you have any skin type and you're wearing makeup, it's always good just to have a powder compact or oil bloating sheets with you, especially if it's hot where you live or if you have oily skin. No one wants to look all shiny face, so if you need to just go into the bathroom and use your powder/oil sheets. Don't touch up your makeup during class, cause it just looks weird.
Having either hand wipes or hand sanitizer is a great thing to have in your school bag. There are a ton on germs in a school and it's good to clean your hands in some way before eating. This is the hand sanitizer I like from Bath and Body Works in the scent Wild berry. You can buy these tiny hand sanitizers for around a dollar, I think, and they last a long time.
In my school, we can listen to music so I like to bring my headphones and mp3 to school. My IPod broke so now I have a MP3, deal with it. Anyways my headphones are from Philips and if you want them here's a link, to them on Amazon. I like listening to music in my art class personally and I like listening to music while walking to school and when I'm walking home.
When I have a free block, I like to go off campus to go either to Starbucks or anywhere really. So I always like to keep some cash with me. I never take more than $15.00 to school, just in case it gets stolen. Also my school has a school store so with the money I can purchase a snack in between classes.
Another product I think is great to have in school is either a mini body spray or roll on perfume. After gym class, you may want to freshen up and using a body spray/perfume along with a deodorant will help you smell great. This body spray I like is from Bath and Body Works in the scent Venice Dolce Berry. My favorite perfume is Coach Poppy and you can get this roller ball one from Sephora with Poppy and Poppy Flower. I'll keep either of these in a separate bag, away from my binders and notebooks in case it somehow leaks.
If you don't want to take a spray or perfume, a scented lotion works too. I have a mini Paris Amour from Bath and Body Works that I take to school with me. It's not only great and making you smell nice, but if you get dry hands this will moisturize them.
I hope this list of must haves was helpful for you guys and comment with your must haves for school. See you guys at my next post xo~!

YesTo Cucumbers Soothing Facial Towelettes Review~!
Hey Guys~!
I have horrible skin over the summer. It's oily, dry, acne covered and I HATE IT! I'll try anything to fix my skin, especially when it's irritated. My cheeks are naturally red and if I have irritated skin that day, I look like a tomato.
Towards the beginning of the month, I went to Target non-stop to find a face wipe or something that would remove my makeup, oils, and dirt from my face without making my skin look and feel worse. After a lot of searching and testing, I found my skin's new best friend. It's name is YesTo Cucumbers Facial Towelettes.
They come in a durable plastic-like bag that's bright green with pale cucumber slices on it. All of the information necessary before and after purchasing in easy to find such as the ingredients list and the directions.
These wipes claim to be cleanse the skin, remove makeup, and nourish skin. It contains cucumber, aloe, and green tea extracts which are all ingredients to smooth skin's texture. Also the extracts used are completely organic.
The wipe itself is soft to the touch and looks like a typical face wipe.
It removes my B.B. cream, concealer, powder, cream eye shadow with ease. However it doesn't completely remove my waterproof mascara. My skin after using these wipes feels smoother and it's less red.
I totally recommend this wipes over other drugstore wipes. These preform how they claim to preform and the results are great. Some of you may be saying to yourselves, 'But what about the Neutrogena ones?' Well those broke me out and I tried the sensitive skin ones.
However they are more expensive then some others. On the Target website they are $5.99 and around $6.99 in the store for a pack of 30 wipes. The Pond's wipes which I used to use are $4.69 for 30 wipes on the Target website. Also they are natural, so if you want a non-chemical option these wipes are great for you.
I've taken these wipes on trips and they're great for travel because the packaging isn't bulky and massive. Also you can buy travel sized packs too.
Overall these are my favorite makeup wipes and I plan to try more from YesTo.

Back to School Series: Drugstore Makeup Starter Kit~!
Hey Guys
and welcome to my back to school series~!
I decided to start this series with a makeup starter kit to help you guys who either can wear makeup to school now or have decided to start wearing makeup and don't know where to start. All of the products I'm going to be featuring in this post you can get at the drugstore. So with that out of the way, let's get started~!
Face
If you have practically flawless skin, I don't think you really need to wear a ton of makeup on your face. If you want coverage, get a tinted moisturizer or a B.B. Cream. I have two B.B. Cream Reviews you can look at if you're searching for one.
But for everyone else if you want to cover acne, redness, or any other imperfections, these drugstore products are great to try out.
Foundation
For school I don't like to have a heavy feeling face, so I like to keep my makeup light. A great foundation for school I think is Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation and I'm in the shade #110 Ivory. It has medium coverage and could be possibly built up to full coverage. It has SPF 20 so you don't have to apply a separate sunscreen. It feels very light on the skin, like you have nothing on your face.
Concealer
I've already talked about this concealer before in my Top 5 Concealers post. If you want more information about it, read that post. During the school year I'm ALWAYS tired, so I like to have a concealer that covers my dark circles. This concealer by Physicians Formula has a yellow concealer, which cancels out the blue tones in dark circles, and a skin tone concealer, which I use to cover acne. Like the foundation, this concealer also feels light which I prefer for school.
Powder
I have combination skin, so I have to set my T-zone with powder. I love Rimmel Stay Matte, but it isn't portable so I can't use it to touch up in school when I look like an shiny mess. A great powder with a mirror and an applicator is the L'Oreal True Match Powder. I'm in the shade N1 Soft Ivory. It has a light coverage with a matte finish and a large shade selection. It's in a durable plastic compact which it great to carry in your bag and you don't have to worry about it cracking.
Blush
I don't think blush is necessary for school and I usually don't wear it. But my favorite drugstore blush is Candid Coral by E.L.F. This blush is from the E.L.F. Studio Line and it's a coral-peachy color with flecks of gold shimmer, which brightens up the face and gives a natural, youthful glow. If I'm wearing a blush to school, I wear this one and it has great pigmentation.
Eyes
Everyone has there own opinion on eye makeup. What one person may like, you could hate. So what I'm saying is what I like, could be completely different than what you like. You don't have to change your look so you match mine. Do whatever you want.
Anyways for school I like very natural eye makeup, so I use neutral shadows that compliment my eye color and shape. If your eyes aren't like mine, you can still use these products. But know that this is what I like and I think works on me.
Eye Lid Primer

This isn't necessary for everyone, but for people with oily eye lids who want their makeup to last a primer will help. This one from E.L.F. is great and it's only a dollar?!?! It conceals veins on your lids too and helps shadows stay on. The one I like is in the shade Sheer cause it blends perfectly into my skin tone.
Eye Shadow
I have two drugstore eye shadow palettes I think are great for school. One is a duo from Maybelline and it's in the color #65 Dusk. This duo comes with a shell pink and a taupe. The pink has a shiny, opal-like, finish and the taupe has tiny flecks of shimmer, which are barely noticeable. If I'm wearing this, I put the pink on my lids and lightly buff the brown into the crease. These two shadows create a quick and easy natural eye look that is wearable for everyday.
The other drugstore eye shadow palette I like is by Revlon and its the Revlon Custom Eyes Kit in the shade #10 Sweet Innocence. This palette comes with five eye shadows; a cool-undertone brown, warm peach, cream, natural violet, and a pale pink. These shadows feel soft to the touch and apply nicely. If I'm wearing this palette I either just put the cream color all over my lid up to the brow bone or I wear the peach on my lid, brown in my crease, and a tiny amount of the purple in my outer V.
Eye Liner
I line my water line and tight line sometimes. For both I use Rimmel Scandaleyes liners. For my water line I use the color #5 Nude. It is a peach liner that cancels out the redness on the waterline, making the eyes look brighter and more awake. I used to line my waterline with a white liner, but I prefer this instead for everyday because it's more natural looking.
For my tight line I use #4 Taupe. It's, as the name states, taupe and I love it because it looks more natural than a dark brown or a black. It helps my lashes look thicker and I've also used this for my waterline too. Both of these liners and well pigmented, creamy, and waterproof so they'll last on your eyes.
Mascara
I like thick, long lashes and The Rocket by Maybelline does that. This is one of my favorite mascaras I've tried and if you build it up, your lashes will look longer and thicker. I have mine in the color Blackest Black, I think. The spiky rubber bristles on the wand get all of my lashes and coats them evenly. However if you're going to build it up, don't wait in between coats or else the mascara will get dry and clump your lashes together.
Lips
I have two lip products I recommend for school. Of course you could try other shades, but these are ones I feel look natural on me.
You guys should've seen this one coming, I made a whole post about my collection of them. If you haven't read that post, I LOVE MAYBELLINE BABY LIPS~! The shade I recommend for school is #30 Peach Kiss. It's a natural peachy color and it moisturizes the lips. I usually use this as my chap stick in school and because the color is so natural you don't need to look in a mirror to apply it.
Another great lip product are the Revlon Lip Butters. They are super moisturizing, but not as moisturizing as the Baby Lips. I just use these for the color. The shade that looks most natural on me is #25 Peach Parfait. (I now just realized both products I like both have 'Peach' in the name. . . ) It applies smoothly and I like the color and how it looks on my lips.
And there you have it, my drugstore makeup starter kit. If you guys want a tutorial of me using the products, comment on this post. I hope you guys found this helpful and talk to you guys later xo

Skin79 Super+ B.B. Cream Review~!
Hey Guys~!
Sorry for not posting in a while, I was on vacation with my family and we had no wifi where we were staying :(
Anyways so I got this product about two weeks ago and I'm now going to review it for you guys after testing it out. This is the newly formulated Skin79 Super+ B.B. Cream. . .
I was contemplating buying the old formula over the new one, but the new one had better reviews so I purchased it instead. The packaging is identical, both in a durable plastic container with a pump, keeping the product sanitary.
This B.B. Cream has SPF25 PA++, which is awesome cause with my other B.B. Cream I had to apply sunscreen under it because it didn't have SPF, and it claims to have built in whitening and wrinkle improvement. I've noticed some of my acne scaring fading, but I don't really have any wrinkles for it to repair.
The product has a greyish tone to it when you first apply it and if you do not blend this in enough, you will look sick. When you blend it in, it works into your skin and matches some what to your skin tone.
I personally think it looks best blended in with your hands cause I think the skin absorbs it better and it looks more natural. Like most B.B. Creams this one has a dewy finish. So I personally like to set it with a mattefying powder and the one I like is Rimmel Stay Matte. If you have super dry skin, I would not recommended setting this with a powder but if you have oily skin it's a must.
I bought this on Amazon for $9.00 without shipping and around $15 with shipping. The seller I ordered from gave me some samples too which was really nice. And to make things better, it came a day before it was supposed to.
I have very pale skin and this product matches my skin tone perfectly. If you have light to fair skin, this B.B. Cream should match your skin tone. I'm starting to prefer this to my L'Oreal B.B. Cream and it's cheaper which I like. If you need a build-able light to medium coverage, this B.B. Cream is what you should get.

Coverage: ♥♥♥♥♥
Staying Power: ♥♥♥♥♥
Texture: ♥♥♥♥♥

I really love this B.B. Cream and I've recommended it to a lot of my friends who have tried mine and really liked it. Hope y'all enjoyed the review~!

Best and Worst E.L.F. Brushes~!
Hey Guys~!
I don't have a job, so I don't have a million dollars to spend on brushes. Since I started using makeup, I've been trying to find great inexpensive brushes at the drugstore. The one brand I tried the most brushes from was E.L.F. and if you've read my other posts you'd know I love E.L.F.
However some of their brushes aren't as good as others. I'll be reviewing brushes from the Professionals Line, $1.00 each, and the Studio Line, $3.00 each. From both of these lines, there are brushes I like and brushes I just hate.
Here are all the E.L.F. brushes I own. . .
The ones with the white handle are from the Professionals Line and the ones that are all black are from the Studio Line. I have face brushes and eye brushes from both lines.
Let's start with the Professionals Line brushes. . .
Face Brushes

For face brushes I have the Foundation Brush and the Bronzing Brush. The Foundation Brush looks like a typical foundation brush with sleek bristles. The Bronzing Brush is made with red bristles that were cut in an angle.
These were my first makeup brushes ever and at first I loved them. I used to use them all the time, till they began to fall apart. I'd glue them back together, but I then noticed the more I used them, the quicker I needed to glue them back together.
But for my B.B. Cream I found that the foundation brush works well for applying, but not for blending. Since my B.B. Cream needs to be blended in order for the pigment beads to burst, this brush is useless in my daily routine.
I'm going to reiterate a complaint I've heard before about the E.L.F. Professionals brushes that have red bristles. These brushes feel scratchy on the face and shed when you use them. I've never purchased face brushes from this line since the Bronzing Brush shed all over my face.
Eye Brushes
The eye brushes from this line are great. I have the Eye Shadow Brush and the Blending Eye Brush. I use both of these daily and they work much better than the face brushes from this line.
The Eye Shadow Brush is a generic flat shading brush and it really does pack on whatever eye shadow you want. I use this for my lid, brow bone, and inner eye corner. It's not too stiff, but it's soft. Sometimes I use it to apply cream shadow, but I do have to clean the brush before using it with powder eye shadow.
The Blending Eye Brush is a great crease and blending brush. It's very round cut, making it easy to fit into the crease or outer V of the eye. I use it to blend my shadows together and for the crease. If you need a great multi-purpose eye brush, this one would be the one I'd recommend.
Now the Studio Brushes . . .
Face Brushes
The brushes I own from this line are the Powder Brush, Blush Brush, Small Stipple Brush and the Complexion Brush. The Powder Brush is a straight cut, dense brush, which I use to either blend my foundation/B.B. Cream or to apply powder. The Blush Brush is dome shaped and less dense completed to the Powder Brush and I use it for blush. The Small Stipple Brush is smaller than the Blush Brush and it is just a miniature stipple brush, which I use for B.B. Cream. The Complexion Brush is a large brush with long bristles and I use it when I want a light dusting of powder.
All of these brushes are extremely soft and feel nice on the skin, unlike the Professionals brushes. The don't fall apart or shed on me, which I also like. Certain brushes also have covers and those are great for storing and protecting the brushes.
Eye Brushes
I only have one eye brush from this line and it's the Small Angled Brush. It's thin and as the name states, cut in an angle. It's basically an angled eye liner brush, and that's what I mainly use it for. I use this to blend my upper lid liner if I choose to wear it and doing so makes it a little more natural. Also I use it for filling in the sparse areas of my brows.
This brush is multi-functional and I have found a few other uses for it too. Sometimes I use it to blend out my lip color or to apply eye shadow to my lower lash line. No matter how I use it, it always seems to get the job done.
Overall Review
The E.L.F. brush line is great for those like myself that can't spend a lot of money on brushes. However don't waste your time and money on the Professionals Brushes if you want a cheap face brush. They are cheaply made and irritate the skin. The eye brushes are what make me not hate this line, since they work as well as other more expensive brushes I own.
The Studio Brushes are what made me fall in love with the brand E.L.F. They're made well, don't shed or irritate my skin, and they feel nice. If you're starting off with makeup, I'd recommend using these face brushes over most other ones you can purchase at a drugstore price.
If you're just starting out with makeup, I would buy brushes from the Studio line because the face brushes are much better compared to the Professionals ones quality wise. For eye brushes you could go with either line.
I hope this review was helpful to you guys~!

Wet n' Wild Pop Art Craze Eyeshadow Collection Review~!
Hey Guys~!
At my local Walgreens I saw a new Wet n' Wild display for a new line called Pop Art Craze, here are pictures of the displays from the Wet n' Wild website.
As you can see, this new line contains six new Wild Shine nail polishes and six new Color-icon eye shadow trios. I had a lot of colors similar to the ones in the nail polish line and I don't really like the Wild Shine formula, so I didn't get any of the polishes.
But one of the eye shadow trios just drew me to it and I got it. If you look at the eye shadows, they are all really bold and colorful. Personally I don't like really colorful eye shadow so I got the mostly neutral one called To Muse and Carouse.
This trio is all matte with a warm peach, neutral toned brown, and a sea foam blue. As expected from Wet n' Wild, these Color-icon shadows are well pigmented and the formula feels the same as the other Color-icon shadows, slightly chalky. And for only $2.99 to get an all matte palette is amazing. I don't know if the other shadow trios are also matte, but if you need the staple matte brown, this trio is perfect.
Also the beautiful blue color is amazing and by far my favorite eye shadow in the trio, although it's not as pigmented as I would've liked it to be. This blue isn't like any blue eye shadow I've gotten before. The color looks kind of electric blue in the picture from the website, however it's more of a minty blue. I noticed when applying this shadow, my eyes looked instantly brighter. I never experimented with colored eye shadow before but after trying this trio out on my eyes, I'm tempted to try wearing subtle amounts of color on my eyes more often.
Pigmentation: ♥♥♥♥♥
Formula: ♥♥♥♥♥
Price: ♥♥♥♥♥
As you can see, I ♥ this trio and according to the website, this line is limited edition, so get it now before it's gone.
Hope you guys enjoyed this review and I can't wait to see you at my next one~!

July Beauty Favorites 2013~!
Hey Guys~!
July is now over and I have one more month left of vacation ;_;
But I'm going to start doing a Back to School Series both here and on YouTube. I have a few videos planned for that, so subscribe to my channel so you know when they're up: http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCXT7MWSZ4XH-hPql8YwOuqQ
Also my first tutorial should be up soon so when it's done, I'll post a link to it in my next post.
With that all out of the way, let's get into my favorites~!
Makeup
Throughout this month, I've been into wearing light, natural makeup. It's really hot where I live, so everything in my favorites is summer proof.
This month I've been using my L'oreal Magic Skin Beautifier B.B. Cream in the shade Fair. I got this at the beginning of the month since any other B.B. product I tried didn't match my skin. This one works perfectly for my fair skin. It covers up well and looks nice on my skin. I just set it with a little powder on my T-zone after applying it. The only problem I have with this is that it doesn't have SPF.
I haven't worn blush all that much this month, but if I do choose to wear it I wear this one by E.L.F. The color is called Candid Coral and as the name implies it's a coral blush with flecks of gold. This warms up my face when I apply it and the gold looks like a highlight on my skin. I've repurchased this blush multiple times and for the price of $3.00, it's amazing.
I haven't worn eye shadow that much this month either, but if I did want something on my lids, I'd wear this cream shadow. This one is from the metals collection of the Maybelline Color Tattoos. The color is called Barely Branded and this light champagne color and it adds a nice definition to your lids. It's waterproof and lasts really well, even if you have oily eyelids.
I don't line my upper lash line, but I do line my waterline. The eyeliner I've been using for this is the Rimmel Scandaleyes in Nude. It's a peach colored pigmented eyeliner and it brightens my eyes with a natural look, unlike white. It's a waterproof liner and it applies smoothly.
I usually use high volume mascara, but I've been really into wearing a lengthening one instead. The mascara I've been using is Revlon Lash Potion. It does lengthen my lashes and it defines them, making my eyes look bigger. I have the waterproof formula and it does provide volume, but not extreme volume; making it natural looking.
In the summer, my lips got extremely dry for some reason. So I went crazy trying out tons of drugstore lip balms. My favorite was the LypSyl lip balm with pure beeswax. This stuff is extremely moisturizing and has a cooling feel on my lips. Also it smells like peppermint and I love the smell of mint.
If I feel like wearing something else on my lips, I wear this lipstick. It's the Revlon Color Stay Ultimate Suede Lip Stick in the color Cruise Collection. I like wearing coral in the summer time, so this is my perfect coral lip color. I've heard that these Suede Lip Sticks are drying, but they've never been like that for me.
I've been into wearing colorful nail polish this month and I have two colors that I've been wearing constantly. They are On a Trip by Wet and Wild and Pacific Blue by Sally Hansen. On a Trip is a cool undertone purple and it just pops on my nails. If you want to know more about this polish I talked about it in my Ultimate Summer Nail Polishes post.
I'd been trying to get Pacific Blue for months and no matter where I go (Walgreens, CVS, Target) it's never in stock. But I got lucky and bought it as soon as I saw it. I put it on my nails the next day and I've been in love with it since. It's a periwinkle blue and like On a Trip, this color pops.
Hair and Skin Care
I have frizzy hair, so I've tried everything to help my hair stay wavy and not turn into a fuzz ball. I heard a lot of good things about this, so I got it at CVS and I purchased a back up one a few days ago. The savior of my hair that I'm talking about it the Not Your Mother's Kinky Moves Curl Defining Hair Cream. It smells like grape since it's infused with grape seed and jasmine to condition your hair. I use this after I shower and I get great waves and curls after I let my hair air dry. I've been using this since the beginning of the month and I recommend this to anyone with dry or frizzy hair.
Since my B.B. Cream doesn't have SPF, I've been using a sun screen by Clean and Clear with SPF 15. What I like about this is it's oil-free so it doesn't clog my pores. It leaves a white cast on my face which reduces redness.
I hope you guys enjoyed my beauty favorites for last month and comment with your favorite products down below. See you guys at my next post~!
