Today's post is supposed to be my favorite female anime character. However, I have already made a list of my favorite female anime characters, {click here to read that.} I wasn't sure if I should select a character from that list, or choose a character that wasn't on that list. You won't know what I chose to do just waiting here. So let's start~~!
Recently I watched the anime Mirrai Nikki, also known as Future Diary. It became one of my favorite anime, since I'm a huge fan of psychological horror anime. Now, you may be expecting my favorite character to be Yuno Gasai, since she's the most famous character from this show. However, my favorite is Uryuu Minene.
Now, I will do my best not to spoil this anime, because I personally hate spoilers and if you really want to know what happens you can either watch the anime, or look it up on Wikipedia.
Uryuu Minene is a terrorist and also has a diary, which allows her to escape from any situation. She's introduced as a villain, and I assumed she wouldn't survive much longer.
Throughout the anime, she serves as an anti hero as well as a mentor for the main character Yukiteru. First of all, I like her because she's super tough and doesn't let anything stop her.
Also there's a specific episode where we see more of her awkward and shy side, which completely contrasts to her strong persona. It's honestly one of my favorite episodes to watch because it developed her character in a way that fit the story, and it made her a more relate-able character.
