Nail Art Kit~!

Hey Guys~!

For a while I've been posting a lot of nail art tutorials here on my blog. On these tutorials I receive lots of questions about the tools I use and where I get them. Today I thought I'd share with you guys what I keep in my nail art kit. So let's start~~!

The biggest question I get is where I get my nail art brushes from, the answer may surprise you. I actually used cheap paint brushes from the dollar store. They actually work pretty well, and are inexpensive. Before I use them I make sure to rub them with Vaseline to prevent the nail polish from staining them. After I finish with the nail polish, I like to lightly clean the brushes with nail polish remover and cold water.

Next thing I have in my kit is my really old dotting tool. I got this a really long time ago, but you can find them at any beauty store or drugstore. Mines pretty dirty, but it works alright. If you can't find a dotting tool, toothpicks are the next best thing. Are used toothpicks a lot and they're great for more than just the dots. I've used them to make lines, both straight and squiggly ones.

For gradients I really enjoy using makeup sponges. They're really inexpensive, and super easy to find. I don't have a favorite brand to recommend.

I also have a large range of jewels and stickers. I bought this set of jewels on Amazon, they don't sell this specific one anymore, but there's a huge variety online. For applying jewels, I use a cuticle stick or tweezers. Stickers again most often at the drugstore. They're not my favorite things to use, but they really add a lot to the designs. Like the jewels I use a tweezers to apply them.

So that was everything in my nail art kit. I hope you guys enjoyed this and found it helpful. If you have anymore questions leave them in a comment down below, and I'll try to answer as soon as possible. Thank you guys so much for reading and I'll see you at my next post.

Hey Guys~!

This is basically an emergency kit, containing what I need for school, besides my homework. So let's start~~!

What is in My Beach Makeup Bag~!

Hey Guys~!

It is summer time, and that means going on vacation. Today I'll be sharing what I keep in my makeup bag for if I go to the beach or pool. A majority of these products are waterproof, which is great if you want to wear this while swimming. Also I am thinking about filming a tutorial using these products, so let me know if you are interested. So let's start~~!

I really like this makeup bag that came in a kit I bought last summer from Too Faced. I love the pink, blue, and white color scheme. Now let's looks at what's inside~!!

I am starting with face makeup, and for that I have three products. Primer helps makeup last longer, especially in hot weather. My favorite primer is the Maybelline Baby Skin, since it makes my skin super smooth. I don't like having heavy makeup on my face in the summer, so I like covering darkness and other imperfections with my Maybelline Fit Me concealer. To set my concealer and cause it has SPF, I also have my Pürminerals Powder Foundation. It has nice coverage without feeling heavy on my skin.

For cheeks I have one of my favorite blushes, the NYX cream blush in Boho Chic. It's a natural color that lasts really nicely. It has a sheen to it which adds a lot of life to the skin without being too bold or dramatic. I also have a bronzer, and I use this just to warm up my complexion and lightly contour. It is the NYC Bronzer in Sunny, which is completely matte.

Now onto eye products. Of course I have my Anastasia brow pencil, since I can't live without filling in my eyebrows. I have this champagne cream shadow from Maybelline that I love wearing. It brightens the eyes and stays on forever. For a pop of color, I have this Rimmel eyeliner in this pretty azure color. It's waterproof, so it will stay on even if you go swimming, and blue is a brightening color for the eyes. Last for the eyes is mascara, and I'm really liking this one from L'Oreal. It's the Manga Rock, and I have the waterproof formula. It lengthens my lashes without them clumping a ton.

For my lips, I have this lip stain from Etude House. It's an orange color, but on my lips it looks coral. I prefer lip stains, since I don't have to constantly reapply them. Also I like a coral lip for the summer because it warms up the face without being super bold.

I hope you all enjoyed seeing what I keep in my beach/pool makeup bag~! If you would like a makeup tutorial where I use these products, let me know in the comments below. Thank you guys so much for reading and I'll see you at my next post.
