Lilac Inspired Nail Art~!

Hey Guys~!

It's time for another nail art tutorial~!! Today I'll be showing you guys this simple nail art design inspired by one of my favorite flowers, lilacs. This is more inspired by lilac bushes, where the flowers hang down, but whatever. It is super easy to do, you don't even need professional nail art tools. So let's start~~!

For This Tutorial You Will Need
Base Coat/Top Coat
Pastel Purple Polish
Light Purple Polish
Dark Purple Polish
Toothpick or Dotting Tool

First apply base coat to protect your natural nails and prevent them from staining. Wait for it to dry, and then apply 2 - 3 coats of pastel purple nail polish.

With a toothpick or dotting tool, make dots with a dark purple polish. Concentrate the dots along the base of the nail, and spread them out along the length.

Using a light purple polish, make smaller dots over the dark purple ones. Be sure the dark purple dots are dry before doing this. Also don't cover up all of the dark purple because it adds dimension. Apply a top coat to seal in the design and add a nice shine.

And now we're finished~! I hope you guys enjoyed today's nail art tutorial. In the comments below tell me what your favorite flower is, and maybe it'll be the inspiration for a future nail art tutorial. Thank you guys so much for reading and I'll see you at my next post.

xo

  12. Sooo cute <3 I like how you took the inspiration of the lilac flowers flowing downwards. It kind of reminds me of rain droplets as well.
