February Favorites 2015~!

Hey Guys~!

February is over, and hopefully I won't get anymore snow where I live. Seriously, I have to wear giant hiking boots to get to school everyday and I'm almost always ten minutes late to class. Anyways, on a much happier note, today I'll be sharing my February favorites~!! I have some new makeup favorites and a new anime that I'm obsessed with. So let's start~~!

Makeup

Pürminerals 4-in-1 Powder Foundation: Okay, you guys are probably sick of me talking about this, but I just love it. It's the best powder foundation I've ever used and it have build-able coverage. It's paraben-free so it won't irritate the skin and I've just been wearing it everyday.
L'Oreal Voluminous Miss Manga Mascara: I reviewed this last year and recently I got back into wearing it. I really like the volume this gives my lashes without making them feel heavy and clumpy. I do need to buy the waterproof version soon though for the summer.
Maybelline Baby Lips Dr. Rescue in Coral Crave: I love the Baby Lips and this one I've been wearing a ton. It has menthol in it which really does keep my lips from chapping. The color is a sheer pink and it looks really natural.
Etude House Fresh Cherry Tints: I'm a huge fan of lip tints when wearing a gradient lip, and these two from Etude House are really nice. The orange one gives my lips a coral tint and the purple one is great for a berry tint. I've been wearing both of them this month and I want to try some of the other colors.

Skin Care

Pierre F. Super Rich Clay Mask: This may be my new favorite face mask~! It really works well to treat my acne and it doesn't dry out my skin. It has no Parabens, Phalates, Sulfates, or Pegs, which is great if you have sensitive skin.  Also it's one of the few clay masks I've tried that smells really nice.

Perfume

Daisy by Marc Jacobs: I got this while in Florida last year, and I've been wearing it everyday. It smells amazing and isn't too strong so it's wearable. However it is expensive, so I recommend getting the roller ball version, and not only is it cheaper but more portable too.

Anime

Tokyo Ghoul: I'd heard about this anime for months, and I finally decided to watch it. And I love it~! Visually it's beautiful, but the main character bothers me, A LOT~!! But Touka is my favorite, she's just perfect <3 I know there is a second season, but once I started it, I wasn't much of a fan. Also my favorite characters don't end up together~!!!

Those were all my favorites from the month of February. I hope you guys had a great month and if you want a review on any of the products shown, let me know in the comments below. Thank you guys so much for reading and I'll see you at my next post.

  2. Please read the Tokyo Ghoul manga! The anime really doesn't do it justice - it's hard to fit 100+ chapters in only a few episodes. The quality of the anime is very inconsistent, and it seems like they only spend time on fight scenes; everything else is pretty mediocre. It also lacks the character development that was so prevalent in the series.

Season two of Tokyo Ghoul isn't much better, but at least it has an interesting premise. It was created with the help of the author himself, so it's bound to be at least a little more interesting than season one. Root (Route) A (Aogiri) shows him choosing Aogiri over Anteiku, unlike the manga, which makes for an interesting change. Compare it to Tokyo:re (reply, response, retry?), the second manga series, which shows him as an entirely new character - Haise Sasaki - who has been accepted as a half-ghoul inspector in the CCG.

If you can't tell, I'm a huge fan of the series. xDDD

  3. Ah I'm a fan of the Miss Manga mascara too! At first I avoided it cause I thought it was just gimmicky... but I'm surprised at how well it works...even for my short lashes.

I've heard a lot about Tokyo Ghoul, and the anime looks kind of cool but I haven't had the chance to check it out >_<
