Samantha Vega Sailor Moon Luna Purse Review~!

Hey Guys~!

In my Sailor Moon themed wishlist, {click here} to read it if you haven't yet, and in my Forever21 Haul, {click here} if you haven't watched it yet, I showed this Luna bag from the Samantha Vega collection, which was on AliExpress. This was my first time ordering from AliExpress, so I didn't know what to expect. Today I'll be reviewing the bag as well as my experience with AliExpress. So let's start~~!

My purse came in this heavily taped up box, which was a little dented. I was worried the bag would be damaged inside, but thankfully it wasn't. The bag itself was in a plastic bag, with nothing else to protect it.

To my surprise, inside the bag there were two little gifts. One of them was this mint macaroon coin purse, which is super cute and squishy. The other was this little pouch of potpourri, which smells really nice. I wasn't charged for either of these, so I guess they were just little gifts from the seller.

The bag itself is made out of good quality faux leather with gold accents on the strap, bottom of the bag, and the moon on the front. Both of the rhinestones on the moon where there, which was something I was worried would be missing. There aren't any scratches on the bag, which is also great.

Front View

Back View

Bottom View
The interior is a durable nylon with a super cute pattern of Luna and Artemis. There are tons of little pockets that make it easy to store your phone, wallet, and whatever else you may need. There is a zipper pocket as well as two little pouches on the other side. There is a thin pocket under the flap, which would be great for a train or bus card.

This is the Samatha Vega tag. It says 'Fulfilled Love. This bag is for a girl who always has fun.'

The strap is adjustable, but I personally like wearing it cross body so it's long.

My one complaint with the bag is that it's hard to close. The snap that is used to close it is sometimes hard to use, especially when it comes to closing it.

I bought this bag for $36.50 on AliExpress, but sadly the seller I bought it from sold out. There are a ton of this styled bag on AliExpress, but if you want the real one like mine, do your research by reading reviews. The knockoff does cost less, but the details aren't the same as this one. I got free shipping, which was also great because this came from China, and I usually have the pay shipping.

I ordered this on June 28th and I got it on July 8th, when on the website it said it would come between July 13th - July 28th. I was super shocked and because it came early I thought it would be ruin. Thankfully I was wrong and I'm so happy with this bag.

Exterior: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

Quality: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

Overall: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

I am more than in love with this bag. I've been wearing it everywhere and getting tons of compliments on it. The quality is amazing and I definitely will be ordering from AliExpress another time soon. If you're a Sailor Moon fan like me, I would recommend getting this. I think this bag is a great way to show your a fan without being too out there. For what I paid, I think it was worth it completely.

I hope you all enjoyed today's review. Share your AliExpress experiences and/or your opinions on this bag in the comments below, I love hearing from you guys. Also, I'm planning a Sailor Moon themed outfit, so look out for that. Thank you guys so much for reading and I'll see you at my next post.

L'Oreal Miss Manga Rock Mascara Review~!

Hey Guys~!

A while ago I reviewed the original L'Oreal Miss Manga mascara, {click here to read the review.} Recently L'Oreal came out with the Miss Manga Rock mascara, and I thought it would be great to review it and almost compare it to the original one. I've been testing it longer than I do for other products, since this review is also a comparison. I'm excited to share what I found with you guys. So let's start~~!

Like the original, I love the cute packaging. It's the same design, except instead of pink and black as the color scheme, it is yellow and black. I just wish the cute little chibi faces were on the mascara tube, cause I think the tube is boring.

This mascara promises to create overloaded lashes, meaning it should volumized them, on both the top and bottom lashes, as well as separate them. I have been testing it out for a few weeks now, and I can say it does both of those things, but not the the extent it is advertised.

The wand is different the the original Miss Manga, which is a wire brush. The Miss Manga Rock wand is plastic with short spikes. Also unlike the Miss Manga, the Miss Manga Rock isn't as flimsy or bendy.

Here's a before and after, on the left is mascara and on the right is no mascara. This mascara definitely lengthens, but I have used more volumizing mascaras, both high-end and from the drugstore.

Here's a comparison of the Miss Manga and Miss Manga Rock. On the left is the Miss Manga Rock and on the right is original Miss Manga.

I like how both of them look, but I can't choose a favorite. I like Miss Manga because it really lengthens my lashes and makes them look light and fluttery. I like Miss Manga Rock because it lengthens and thickens my lashes.

I actually got this as part of a birthday gift from one of my friends, so I didn't buy this. In my local drugstores, it costs $7.99, which is normal for a drugstore mascara. I do like this mascara enough that I would repurchase it for that price.

Packaging: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♡
Formula: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
Wand: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
Price: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
Overall: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♡

I really like this mascara. It does lengthen and lightly volumizes my lashes. I do wish it was more volumizing, because I've used other mascaras that are more volumizing. Other than that I think it's a really great mascara. I can use it on my bottom lashes, which is great, because usually I use two different mascaras for top and bottom lashes.

I hope you guys enjoyed today's review~! If you have tried this mascara, let me know your opinions on it in the comments below. Also I recently posted a video on my YouTube channel, and I'd love it if you checked it out, {click here} to watch it. Thank you guys so much for reading and I'll see you at my next post.

Top 10 Favorite Male Anime Characters {Collaboration with Minae}~!

Hey Guys~!

Today Minae and I are back and we'll be sharing our top ten favorite male anime characters. If you didn't see our top ten female characters, {click here} to read my list, and {click here} to read Minae's. When it comes to male anime characters, I do have a few favorites. But I do have more female favorites than males, which made this list kind of hard to do. Some of these guys are on here because I have a huge fangirl crush on them, so please don't judge. And if you have an anime related topic you would like Minae and I to write about, let me know in the comments. So let's start~~!

10.) Sven from Black Cat

This may be an odd pick for my list, especially since I barely talk about Black Cat in any of my anime posts. However, I have always enjoyed the series and Sven as a character. He's a bounty hunter who in the beginning of the series saves a girl, Eve, who is a nano weapon. He wants to show her the world and The two have a really sweet, but not romantic, relationship. I love watching Sven act fatherly towards Eve and the main character, Train. The picture I put here makes him look really serious, but he's a comedic character too.

9.) Ikuto from Shugo Chara

One of my first anime was Shugo Chara, and being the young fangirl I was, I fell in love with the hot jerk. I think this anime is the reason I have unrealistic expectations of my love life. Ikuto is a magical boy, how many of those do you see. And he plays violin, which is my favorite instrument, and I love guys that play instruments. Onto why I like Ikuto as a character, he's an angsty character, and I have always liked the angst character. He tries to protect everyone, but in the process gets hurt.

8.) Inuyasha from Inuyasha

I had a really hard time choosing between Inuyasha and his brother Sesshomaru, since I like both characters equally as much. What made me choose Inuyasha over Sesshomaru is the amount development his character goes through in all the different arcs. Seeing him and Kagome develop their relationship, even with everything going on around them, made me just love how devoted they are to each other. That's why I like Inuyasha so much, he's devoted to his friends and Kagome, and he's a funny character too.

7.) Xerxes from Pandora Hearts

I love everyone in Pandora Hearts, so I knew I had to pick someone from there to be on this list. After a lot of consideration, I went with Xerxes. First of all, I love how unique his design is. Second, in an anime that has serious moments, you need a character to lighten up situations, and that's what Xerxes does. He's a very comedic character, and I really enjoy any scene he's in. He pops up and has the perfect comment for every situation, which annoys everyone else, but is hilarious to watch. I haven't read the manga, so hopefully he's as good there.

6.)  Hikaru from Ouran High School Host Club

Everyone has a favorite host, so obviously I had to include my favorite here, Hikaru. First, I love Todd Haberkron, so obviously one of the characters he voices had to be here. I like that Hikaru jokes around a lot, but has a serious and caring side as well. I love that he's protective of the people he cares about, mainly his brother Kaoru and Haruhi. Also that episode where he goes on a date with Haruhi was the cutest thing ever. How he tries to calm her down during the thunderstorm was the sweetest thing ever.

5.) Takahisa from 11eyes

He's a pyrokinetic bad boy, and I just love him. Takahisa has the common anime backstory of being an orphan. He was abandoned by his parents due to his pyrokinetic abilities, but was taken in by the nurse at his school. When he meets everyone else, he brushes them off and is rude to all of them. However, Yukiko, who I mentioned in my top ten females, stays with him and he slowly warms up to her. The side of his personality when he's with Yukiko is just so protective. When everything goes wrong, he does whatever he can to save everyone.

4.) Tomoe from Kamisama Kiss

A fox demon + the voice of J. Michael Tatum = one of the hottest anime guys ever. I love Kamisama Kiss, and from the beginning I was in love with Tomoe. He's the demon protecting the shrine that the main character, Nanami, lives at. Like a lot of the guys on this list, initially Tomoe is rude to Nanami and pushes her away, but as he falls in love with her, he continues to pull away. However whenever Nanami is in trouble, he'll do anything to protect her. I like that unlike most love interests, it takes Tomoe a while to figure out his feelings for Nanami and once he realizes he loves her, he doesn't jump into a relationship with her. Some other people may find it annoying that they don't get together immediately, but for me it shows how much Tomoe cares for Nanami and it makes his character more enjoyable for me.

3.) Fakir from Princess Tutu

Princess Tutu is one of my favorite anime, and Fakir was my favorite out of the two male love interests. Like a majority of the guys on this list, he's a jerk at the beginning. This was because he has the power of what he writes coming to life, which led to the accidental death of his parents. Because of that, he resented his power and ignored his role in the story. Instead he decides to take the role of the knight who protects Mytho. That probably didn't make the most sense, unless you've seen the anime, but basically he's trying to fight his destiny as the writer of the story controlling his town. Since he's not following his part in the story, he ends up fighting with Ahiru/Princess Tutu, his love interest. Once they team up, they grow close and Fakir becomes passionate about using his power to save everyone. Saving everyone does prevent him from reaching his ideal happy ending, but that's what I like about him. He gives up his own happiness to give everyone else in the story a happy ending. And it's unique to see a romance anime where the main love interests don't end up in a perfect relationship.

2.) Gray Fullbuster from Fairy Tail

If you're reading my anime posts, you should have expected this. I love Fairy Tail, and my favorite pairing is Gray x Juvia, so Gray was going to be somewhere here. First, just look at this picture of him. He has the random character quirk of stripping often, without realizing. It's a little self indulgence for my fangirl heart.  Anyway, why I like Gray as a character. Let's start with his backstory, Gray's family was killed by a demon when he was young. He then was taken in by Ur, who teaches him magic and served as a mother. However she dies saving him from the same demon. Gray then joins Fairy Tail and grows up there. Although he does care for everyone in the guild, he doesn't grow especially close to anyone emotionally, except for Juvia. He helps her learn to be positive, which leads to her falling in love with him. He doesn't reciprocate those feelings, but it's evident he cares for her, especially in the serious moments in the anime and manga. His emotions in those moments are the reason I like him so much. In my opinion, he has very realistic emotions and reactions to situations. He wants to protect the people he cares about, but he also takes himself into consideration when fighting for others. And in the Avatar arc, the most recent arc in the manga, when he forgot to think about Juvia, he does whatever he can from then to protect her. If none of that made sense, I like Gray because he has a strong drive to protect those he cares about. And he's often shirtless (๑♡3♡๑)

1.)  Twelve from Terror in Resonance

Alright, we're at my number one favorite male anime character, and that is Twelve from Terror in Resonance. I said that Terror in Resonance was my favorite anime in 2014, and I still love it, obviously since Twelve is on this list. Twelve is part of a duo of terrorists know as Sphinx. He and his friend Nine work together after escaping from a facility they were experimented on. Twelve has a two sided personality, he's often cheerful and smiling, but there are moments where he becomes creepy and violent. Because of how he was treated in the facility, Twelve isn't trustworthy of anyone besides Nine, until he meets Lisa. He first sees her as someone to joke around with, but soon grows strong feelings for her. When Lisa feels like a burden and runs away, Twelve immediately goes after her, leading to my favorite anime scene, the ferris wheel scene. I talked about it in one of my 30 Day Anime Challenge posts, so {click here} if you want to read more about that scene. That scene made me love Twelve's character. In that scene in particular, you can see him wavering between saving Lisa and being in a relationship with her, or following his and Nine's plans of terrorism. I've never seen a character with an internal battle as well written as Twelve's. He had very realistic emotions, in my opinion, and you really felt bad for him, since when watching you didn't know what the right thing to do was either. The anime really shows both sides of who he is, and you really feel for Twelve as you see him struggle to show investment in his and Nine's plan. At the same time, you see Twelve being happy with Lisa, but he also feels like he's giving up on Nine. Out of all the anime I've seen, I find Twelve to be the best expressed, emotionally, and is probably the anime character I was most emotionally invested in. When he was happy, I was happy, and vise versa when he was upset or angry. He's one of the best written characters, and that mixed with the voice acting, making Twelve my favorite male anime character.

I hope you all enjoyed today's post. If you want to check out Minae's Top Ten, {click here} to check it out. In the comments below, share your favorite male anime character, I love hearing you guys's opinions. Also if you have an idea for a future anime post that Minae and I can do, leave that idea for us. Thank you guys so much for reading and I'll see you at my next post.

30 Day Anime Challenge {Day #14 Most Shocking Moment in an Anime}~!

Hey Guys~!

Today will be a post of spoilers, so if you aren't up to date in the anime Fairy Tail, don't say I didn't warn you. For Day 14 I am sharing what I thought to be the most shocking moment in anime. Again this is my opinion, so if this didn't surprise you, then that's your own opinion. So let's start~~!

In episode 196 of Fairy Tail, my fangirl heart was ripped apart and then shot. If you don't remember what I'm talking about, here's the scene. . .

After seeing this scene I read the manga, which I wasn't doing beforehand. I read through the entire manga, up to this scene, and I died again. I thought this scene was only in the anime to serve as a cliffhanger~!!

And it's worse in the manga~!!

They show the beams ripping him apart~!  Juvia's expressions were practically mine when I saw this and I feel like that made this scene all the more shocking and heartbreaking. In both the anime and manga, this scene is one I will not forget. The reactions of the other characters, mainly Juvia, sold it for me, and really pulled a reaction out of me.

I hope you guys enjoyed today's post~! In the comments, let me know what anime scene you found to be the most shocking or surprising, I love hearing you guys's opinions. Thank you guys so much for reading and I'll see you at my next post.

July Favorites 2015~!

Hey Guys~!

It's August, meaning summer is almost over for me. I start school the beginning of September and this is my final year of high school. This past month has been crazy, I've been visiting colleges, at camp, and traveling with my family. Because of all my traveling, I haven't tried a ton of new products, but I've been watching some new anime while driving from place to place. Also I have some food favorites, something new for my favorites posts. So let's start~~!

Makeup

Holika Holika Aqua Petit Jelly B.B. Cream: I haven't been wearing a lot of makeup recently. It's super hot where I live, so my only face makeup has been B.B. cream. I really love how easy it is to apply this particular B.B. cream, I usually use my hands and it blends nicely.

Revlon Lipstick in Wink for Pink: I have been loving this lipstick, it's a great natural pink color. The finish is really nice, it has a light shine, which makes my lips look hydrated. I have also used it as a cream blush and it blends nicely.

Nail Polish

Essie Topless and Barefoot: I have been searching for a nude nail polish that I think looks nice on me, and I think I found it. This polish has a pink undertone, which I think looks nice with my skin tone. Also I've been wearing this with a matte top coat, and it looks really cool.

China Glaze Below Deck: I love all shades of purple nail polish, and this one is really unique in my collection. It's a natural grey toned purple and I really like how it goes with everything. You wouldn't think that, but I like the contrast it has with my more colorful outfits.

Anime

Owari no Seraph Vampire Reign: I am in love with this anime, it is one of the few vampire anime I like. The animation is beautiful and the characters are great. I talked about one of my favorite characters, Shinoa, in a collaboration with Minae, {click here} to read it, and honestly Shinoa is the reason I keep watching it. I heard there will be a second season coming out in October, so I'm super excited.

Food

Panera Chicken Cobb and Avocado Salad: Okay, I rarely talk about food, but recently I was in New York City and I tried this salad for the first time, and now I'm in love. It's super fresh and I love all the different textures in it. I eat really basic salads, after this though I feel like I need to work more on my salad game.

Meiji Chocorooms: I saw these at H-Mart and the name just intrigued me. They taste like chocolate pocky, but with way more chocolate. For me, they're really rich tasting, and I can only have one or two without feeling sick. But they are amazing, if you love chocolate. I want to see if there are other flavors to try, just for some variety.

I hope you guys enjoyed this past month's favorites~! In the comments, share some of your favorites from July, I love hearing from you guys. Thank you guys so much for reading and I'll see you at my next post.
