Glitter Gradient Nail Art~!

Hey Guys~!

Today I have another nail art tutorial for you. This one is a gold gradient nail and it doesn't require any tools. It's quick and easy to recreate and it doesn't take much time either. So let's start~~!

You'll Need. . .

Base Coat

Nude Nail Polish

Gold Nail Polish

Glitter Nail Polish

First apply your base coat to protect and strengthen your natural nails. Then apply the nude nail polish and wait for it to dry.

Then make a french manicure using a gold nail polish. This doesn't have to look perfect cause we'll be covering it with glitter later. Also if you have short nails, you can still do this but you'll just cover 1/3 of the tip of your nail with the gold polish.

Next take a glitter polish with large hexagon shaped glitter, I used a gold glitter polish by L.A. Colors. Apply it where the french manicure ends, this will blur the lines together, making the gradient.

Using a smaller glitter, this is a silver glitter polish also from L.A. Colors, apply it a little bit above the gold glitter to the tip of the nail to complete the gradient.

And that's it, we're done~~!

I hope you guys enjoyed this simple gradient nail art. If you have any nail art design requests, leave me a comment and I'll try my best to recreate it for you guys. See you at my next post.

Favorite Pokemon from X&Y~!

Hey Guys~!

Who's ready for another non - beauty post~? I am cause I feel like you guys deserve to know a little more about me than you do.

So I finally beat Pokemon X a few days ago, I hadn't had time to play recently but now my schedule is less busy. Afterwards I spent a lot of time thinking about which of the new Pokemon were my favorites, so I came up with my top ten. These are my favorites and I'm not trying to influence you guys in anyway. That was my disclaimer, so let's start~~!

10.) Yveltal

I do have the X version but I do also like the Y legendary, Yveltal. Basically it's a death bird ✖_✖ and it's got a great design. It kind of reminds me of Cheshire from Pandora Hearts . . .  I don't think I'd go buy Pokemon Y just so I could have a Yveltal, so for now I'll just admire it from afar.

9.) Doublade

Pokemon that are based off of inanimate objects often get a lot of hate. But I like a lot of them, especially Doublade.  I remember when Doublade was first introduced and everyone thought it looked stupid. Personally I thought it was a good evolution. I prefer how Doublade looks compared to it's pre-evolution Honedge. I think the colors in it's regular form make it look very elegant.

8.) Skrelp - Dragalge

I always really liked sea horses. Horsea's evolution line used to be the only sea horse line, but now they're is another one. Although Skrelp and Dragale may not look the prettiest, I like them. However they were a Pokemon Y exclusive so I could never get one during my play through of the game. Still I really like them and I hope we get more sea horse Pokemon in the future.

7.) Klefki

Another inanimate object Pokemon~! I didn't really use the one I caught in my game, but it is really useful in the Friend Safari and in battle with it's ability Prankster which allows all status moves to get priority. And I don't know why, but I just think Klefki is really cute (〃^▽^〃)

6.) Floette

I really liked the idea of the Fairy type and most of the new Fairy type Pokemon I really liked. One of them is Floette. I used this Pokemon in my team from the beginning and I love it. It has a cute design and a move set that includes grass moves, which makes it useful in battle. Also I love how the flower it holds can be different colors, the one I have has an orange flower

5.) Xerneas

Okay. . . how could I not include the X legendary~? One of the reason I like this Pokemon a lot is because of a story. I'll sum it up quickly so you aren't reading this all day. Ever since I was a kid, my family and I would go visit my uncle who lives in a forest area. There we always looked for deer and one day I actually fed a wild deer. I always thought deer were such delicate yet strong creatures and I think Xerneas fits that perfect.

4.) Fennekin - Braxien (Not Delphox)

When I first saw the new starters I knew I was going to pick Fennekin. I just have a thing for pet looking Pokemon V●ᴥ●V And when I saw Braxien and found out it would be a Fire/Psychic Pokemon, I counted down the days to when X&Y came out. I really like both of their designs, but I don't care for it's final evolution Delphox. It just doesn't look right to me, but Fennekin and Braxien will always be loved ☆゚.*・。゚

3.) Sylveon

I did say I liked the new Fairy type so how could this cutie not be included in my list~? I've always been a fan of Eevee and it's many evolutions. They have always been some of my favorite Pokemon to have on my team. Once Sylveon was introduced, I fell in love with it's design. The color palette used for it fit the Fairy type perfectly and I've always loved pastel colors.

2.) Vivillon

This one has a story behind it, but that's for another post. But anyway butterflies will always have a special meaning to me. I've always caught the butterfly Pokemon in each game I've ever played. When X&Y came out, a week or so prior I was going through a lot emotionally. Seeing this happy little butterfly made me smile and I've been trying to collect all the different wing patterns now.

1.) Espurr - Meowstic

I've always liked Psychic type Pokemon, but I'm sure why. I had never seen Espurr till I ran into one in my game. I just thought it looked so sad but cute at the same time. What I later found out was that depending on it's gender, when it evolved it had a different form. Mine was female and I love that Pokemon paid attention to detail, giving the players two Pokemon in one. Both have different move sets, making they easy to fit into any team. And even though the female one looks really intimidating, I still think it's super cute =^● ⋏ ●^=

So those were my favorite Pokemon from X and Y. Leave me a comment telling me what else you want to know about me and I'll try to share something else about me with you guys. See you at my next post.

L'Oreal Infallible Eyeshadows Review~!

Hey Guys~!

My cousin works for L'Oreal Paris so she was able to get my some limited edition eye shadows from the Infallible line. I've never tried loose shadows before, so I really enjoyed trying these out. So let's start with the review~~!

The packaging is very simple. It's just a screw on top with a stopper to press the shadow down. I really like how compact the shadows are

The two colors I have are #341 Strawberry Blonde and #607 Blinged and Brilliant.

Strawberry Blonde is a shimmery pink opal color and Blinged and Brilliant is a shimmery copper color. I like both colors, I just wish Strawberry Blonde was more pigmented than it is.

I showed both of these in a Face of the Day post. If you want to see how I used these {click here} to check that out.

I got these for free, but if you want to buy them they cost around $8 at the drugstore. I personally think that's kind of ridiculous since it's just one eyeshadow.

Packaging: ♥♥♥♥♥

Pigmentation: ♥♥♥♥♥

Price: ♥♥♥♥♥

Overall: ♥♥♥♥

I do really like these. I think they're fun to work with and are both really pretty. However if you want them, get them on sale cause they are a little pricey.

So that was my review on the L'Oreal Infallible Eyeshadows. Leave me a comment if you have tried these out and tell me what you thought of them. See you at my next post.

Almay Bold Nudes Review + Eyeshadow Look~!

Hey Guys~!

So at the drugstore recently this product caught my eye. It's this eyeshadow trio from Almay and I've never tried eyeshadow from them before, so I'm excited to review this for you guys.

The packaging is typical for an eyeshadow trio. It also comes with a sponge applicator. The one problem I have with this is just I wish it had a mirror somewhere on it. These colors are the natural kind of colors I'd take with me on a vacation or something, so I hate that I'd either have to bring a compact with me or another product with a mirror in it.

This is the hazel eye set, but there are kits for other eye colors too. The colors in this are a coppery peach, a navy blue, and a shimmery champagne. All three shadows are soft to the touch and don't feel powdery or chalky. The pigmentation is okay, I just wish the navy was more pigmented.

Okay now here's the eye look I created with this palette. It's really easy to make.
First I applied my ELF eyelid primer.

Then I applied the copper colored eyeshadow all over my lid with a flat eyeshadow brush.

Next I highlighted my brow bone and inner eye corner using the champagne color and a smaller eyeshadow brush.

With a blending brush and the navy eyeshadow, I concentrated the color on the outer corner and blended it into the crease.

I dipped my angled brush in water and then lined my upper lash line with the navy eyeshadow. Also I lined my outer lower lash line too with the same navy color. Then I applied the Rimmel Scandaleyes liner in Nude to my water line. Lastly I curled my lashes and applied mascara.

I really like this eyeshadow look and I think it can be great for everyday or special occasions.

Packaging:

Pigmentation:

Formula:

Overall:

I think this is a pretty good drugstore eyeshadow palette. I do want to try more Almay eyeshadow now, and hopefully the rest are as good as this one. See you guys at my next post.

☆*・゜゚・*\(≧▽≦)/*・゜゚・*☆

I ordered it from the Urban Decay website three weeks ago and it's finally here~~~~~!

I'm so excited to start trying this out.

Empties/Products I've Used Up~!

Hey Guys~!

I've really liked watching empties videos on YouTube lately, I don't know why.  So since I don't have a working video camera yet {I'm getting one soon} I decided I'd write a blog post about the empties I've collected over the past few months.

Before you think that sounds weird, I knew I was going to write this post eventually so I did want to have more than two products.

So let's start~~!

I'm going to start with makeup products.

First is this foundation. It's the Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3 in 1 Liquid Foundation. I talked about it in my December Favorites post, so check it out to see my review on it. There's barely anything left so I'm probably going to repurchase it soon.

Another makeup product I ran out of was my Physician's Formula Conceal Twin in Yellow/Light. It's just a conceal with two colors, a yellow which corrects blue/purple tones, and a skin colored concealer which covers spots and other imperfections. I think it's okay, and I'm not sure if I'd buy another one.

Lastly I have my EOS lip balm in Tangerine. I get really chapped lips so I used this lip balm especially for the past months. It's the medicated formula so it helps hydrate my lips. I'm probably not going to buy this again because I don't like the texture of this one in particular.

Now here's the only hair product.

I don't use a lot on my hair, so that's why there's only one empty. I ran out of the only styling product I use, the Not Your Mother's Kinky Movies Hair Cream. I love using this on damp hair cause it makes bouncy curls and waves when I put it in so I don't even have to use my curling iron.

Lastly we have skin care. I use a ton of products so of course I'd have a million things to show you guys.

First is one of my favorite products ever. This is the Vaseline Spray & Go Aloe Moisturizer. I love this cause it doesn't feel heavy or greasy on my skin. There are two other scents, but I like the aloe the best.

Next is my eye makeup removing pads from Almay. They're great for taking off all my eye makeup, but I've noticed they don't get off all my waterproof mascara.  Because of this, I might not repurchase them. But if you don't wear waterproof mascara, these are great.

Another product I love that I've used up is my Clean and Clear Morning Burst Gel Moisturizer. It smells amazing and I use it every day before applying my makeup. It hydrates my skin without making it feel heavy.

This is just about empty so I'm counting it in this post. It's my Neutrogena Rapid Clear Sore Pimple Gel. It works really well on my skin to clear up acne. I use it on my more painful spots and it does a great job. However it is a little expensive so it may be awhile before I get another one of these.

So that was my first empties post. Comment if you want me to do more of these. See you guys at my next post.
