Boscia Japanese Favorites Set Review~!

Hey Guys~!

As a gift for myself, I bought this Boscia skin care set. I've never tried Boscia products, because they're really expensive, but this kit was priced nicely. Today I'll be reviewing all four products within the kit, and I'll say if I'd purchase the full size of the product. So let's start~~!

Here's a picture of everything in the kit, there are four different skin care items. I'll be reviewing each product individually and in depth.

Detoxifying Black Cleanser
I love how sleek the bottle is. It comes sealed, which I really appreciate since the box itself isn't sealed. It comes with 1.7 fl oz. / 50 mL of product, which is a good amount too, especially for traveling.

This cleanser claims to deeply clean and detoxify, as the name implies, dissolves pore-clogging impurities, makeup, and oil, brightens skin, and minimizes pore size.

When I tried it for the first time, I expected little black beads, but the face wash is actually black. It looks kind of weird initially, but while washing my face, it gets warm and tingly. The more you lather it, the warmer it gets. My skin feels significantly cleaner after using it.

Luminizing Black Mask
The packaging is quite typical for a mask, just a squeeze tube. It comes with 1 fl oz. / 30 g of product.

This is a peel off mask, which is my favorite to use, that removes impurities and boosts skin's clarity. Peel off masks are my favorite type, but I've never used one that's supposed to clear your skin.

Like the cleanser, this product is black. I mainly applied this to my nose and chin, where I get the most oily and have some acne. It doesn't irritate my skin at all, and it does leave it feeling much smoother. I'm not sure if it helped my acne heal faster, but it didn't dry out my skin like other masks sometimes do.

Tsubaki Beauty Oil
I love the the bottle with the little dropper, I think it's very simple looking. There are 0.44 fl oz. / 13 mL of product, and I don't know if that's a lot for an oil sample, since I've never used oil on my skin before.

It is supposed to be used either before applying makeup or at night. It doesn't say on the bottle what it's supposed to do for your skin, but on the back of the box it says this is a hydrating oil.

I've never used an oil on my skin before, so I don't know if it gave amazing results or not.

Exfoliating Peel Gel
This is the same bottle as the cleanser, which I said I liked the packaging of. It is also sealed and there is 1.7 fl oz. / 50 mL of product.

It is a lightweight gel the works to firm and brighten skin by exfoliating. This product reminds me of the Cure Exfoliate, which I haven't tried but the concepts are similar sounding.

I was worried this would be too abrasive an exfoliate for my skin, but I was surprised that my skin didn't get irritated by this. However, I don't think it removed all of my dry skin. There are still some dry patches after using this, but there is a less dryness then prior to using it.

The entire kit cost $35, which I think is completely worth it. I've wanted to try Boscia skin care for a while, but I was too scared to buy a single product since it's quite expensive. With this kit, I was able to try everything out without spending a ton of money, cause if you do the math, four products for $35 is about $8 a product, and some drugstore skin care costs around that or more.

I do not regret spending the money for this kit at all. I love all of the products and have implemented them into my daily skin care routine. I would consider buying the full size of the cleanser and the mask, but I'm not sold completely on the oil and the exfoliating gel. Overall, if you are looking to try some high end skin care, but not sure what to try, get a kit like this one, it's definitely worth it.

I hope you guys enjoyed today's review~! If you have tried these products, or any of the Boscia products, let me know about your experiences with them in the comments below. Thank you guys so much for reading and I'll see you at my next post.
