Confetti Nail Art Tutorial~!

Hey Guys~!

I wanted to do a really fun and colorful nail art design, and I came up with this. Today I'll be showing you guys how to create what I am calling, Confetti Nails. It is super easy and requires no professional nail art tools. I did a pastel color scheme, but I think there are millions of color options that would look good too. So let's start~~!

For this you will need . . .

A Clear Nail Polish / Base Coat 

Any Nail Polishes You Like

A Pencil

First apply your base coat and let it dry. This will protect your nails from staining. Then apply 2 - 3 coats of your base color. I am using a pale blue from Essie called Bikini So Teeny. Wait for it to dry it between coats, and make sure it's dry before continuing.

Choose some other colors for the 'confetti'. I went with a coral from Etude House, a pastel purple from OPI, You're Such a Budapest, and a pastel green from OPI, Gargantuan Green Grape. I dipped the pencil in the polish and made dots and swirls all over the nail. I started with the coral, then the purple, and lastly the green.

To blend everything, do the same technique with the base color. Wait for this all to dry, it will take a while.

Once it's dry, apply a clear top coat to add a shine and help the design last longer.

And now we are finished~!!

I love bunnies, and once I saw this bag/phone charm, I knew I wanted one. All the different designs are super cute, my favorites are the blue one and the one with red eyes. I would probably add this to one of my Betsy Johnson handbags as a cute accessory.

Pocky Zipper Pencil Case

I think this is the cutest thing ever~! I love Pocky, and I am in need of a new pencil case for my pencils and paint brushes, so I thought this would be not only cute, but it looks to be decent size to fit everything I'd ever need for doing art out of my studio.

Alpaca Plush Folding Mirror

I think I'm a little late to the Alpaca trend, but I think this is just as cute and more practical than a plushie. This mirror would be great to throw in my purse or for if I'm filming a makeup tutorial, there will be a new one soon~!

Macaron Decora Plush Stickers

I love putting stickers on notebooks to add a cute touch to my everyday things. I love these dessert themed stickers, and there are a huge variety of designs to pick from. I love the little donuts as well as the strawberries. 

Hello Kitty Desert Charm Pens

I am really into having cute pens for taking notes in school. When my pen is cute, I'm more motivated to focus and take notes. These are adorable, and I want all four of the designs. I don't know if the ink is colored or not, but either way I want them. 

Bear Cupcake Mechanical Pencils

I also like cute pencils for notes, and these dessert bears are perfect. All three of the designs are cute, but my favorite is the dark brown and pink one. I just think the color scheme looks really nice and cuter than the other two.

Panda Pocky

If you have never had Panda Pocky, I think you're missing out on life. As a lover of white chocolate, this is one of my favorite Pocky flavors. I had it once before, but haven't been able to find it again since. I would love another box, or a hundred boxes, of this. 

Popin' Cooking DIY Candy Kit Ice Cream

I have always seen videos of people making these, and it looks like so much fun~! Basically this is a Japanese candy making kit and with it you can make tons of sweets. I chose this one cause the packaging is super cute.

Winter Vacation + Holiday Haul~!

Hey Guys~!

Sorry for not posting anything this month. I've had tons of projects and exams are coming up too. I'll try to post as much as I can in these last two weeks of January, and when February comes, I promise there will be more content. Anyways, recently I got back from my trip to Florida, and now I'm back home where it's freezing cold ;_; I thought I'd share not only what I got there, but also what I got as holiday presents from my friends and family. I don't celebrate Christmas, but I do exchange gifts. So let's start~~!

I'll start with what I got in Florida. I went into this really cute dollar store and got a few things. First thing I got was this set of three notepads. I love the design and thought the color scheme was super cute. I like having little notebooks like this in my bags in case I need to write something down.

Next thing I got was this compact mirror. The design on the front reminded me of a dress up game I used to play online. What I didn't know when I bought it was that there is a comb inside the mirror that you need to take out in order to open the compact. Also I have no idea who the picture is of inside the mirror...

Lastly from the dollar store I got this really cute squishy key chain. I've seen these on countless websites and at conventions for a ton of money, but I had always wanted one. I found this one there and it's a little green tea cake with little stars and a berry on top. I plan to put it on my bag for school or on a wallet.

At my last trip, I bought a perfume which was Lolita Lempicka. This time I got a different perfume and it was one I'd been looking for, and it is Daisy by Marc Jacobs. I got the 3.4 oz bottle, which was bigger than I thought it would be. It's a floral scent, but it also has light musk scent, which I absolutely love the combination of the two.

And now for my Holiday presents~!! I mostly got money from my family, but I did do a gift exchange with my friend Tiffany, so I thought I'd show you guys what she got me. It's this set of Benefit tinted lip balms and mini tints. I love tinted lip balms, so I'm really excited to try these and review them for you guys.
